How has the pandemic impacted the English Language ecosystem? Is the outlook positive?
The COVID-19 pandemic is a huge challenge to education systems. English teaching shifted from offline mode before the pandemic to online mode during the pandemic. Teachers are not the only ones struggling through the pandemic. Students say they were initially excited about the idea of virtual education, but quickly lost interest in classes and struggled to pay attention. Teachers face the challenges in the effective implementation of the process of English teaching. Therefore, the teachers need to go extra mile to prepare the online lesson such as video lessons, games while also supporting their student’s fears and concerns.
Random Question - If you could bring something extinct (thing or person) back to life, what would you choose and why?
For me, it would be Michael Jackson. He is known as the “King of Pop and regarded as one of the most significant cultural figures of the 20th century. He revolutionized music videos and live performance. He pioneered a new era in music video, enchanting audiences with cinematic and special effects marvels.
Bringing him back to life would be one of the best things to happen to mankind and continue to transform the art of music videos and modern pop music. He impacted dance, led fashion trends, and raised awareness for global affairs such Heal the World Foundation. I believed that Michael Jackson is remembered as the greatest star and for his musical legacy.
